SERVICES

Family Service – Sundays 10.00am
The service is held in the main Church building. Space is provided for children with activity sheets and toys for younger children available.

Morning tea is provided in the Church following the Service and all are encouraged to stay and join in and fellowship over a cuppa.

‘Come as you are’ Service – Saturdays 5.00pm postponed due to Covid19

This service is held on the last Saturday monthly. This is an informal time of contemporary worship with a chance to participate as much or as little as you feel comfortable with. This service is usually followed by a shared meal.

The Uniting Church is a young church – formed on 22 June 1977, when the Congregational, Methodist, and Presbyterian Churches united to become one. We see something happening every day for people to join in, to receive prayer, to find sustenance, to connect to other people.

There is a lot of laughter and  joy and tears as people come from all walks of life to meet with Jesus and share their journey of life.

We see people young and old being baptised into faith, set free from sin and guilt.

We see people letting go of the past and being healed and transformed through the love of Christ, marriages healed, children safe and nurtured, older people’s needs met, past healed.

We see people in the workplace sharing their faith with others.

We see praying people, a maturing peopletrusting God’s providence and rich in His word.

We see a place that is visually pleasing, clean, welcoming, loved and able to be used by many people.

We see a Church blessed by God, abundant in all things.

Core Beliefs

Knowing God – We believe in God in three persons – Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

The Authority of the Bible – we believe the Bible is the inspired word of God through which we see the revelation of Jesus.

Called into Community – We believe we are called to love God and one another and to help each other to grow more Christ-like.

Discipleship – we believe we are committed to help each other grow in Christian faith and Spiritual maturity.

Prayer –  We believe we need to seek God’s guidance in all we do.

Evangelism –  We believe God wants to include everyone in our family and we seek to take His message to our community.
